Wasting no time...

Late afternoon on an early autumn day, along the CSX Metropolitan Subdivision Main Line at Dickerson, Maryland…

And as the late day sun paints the trees – and even the diesel exhaust – in a golden glow, CSX 7325, a GE C40-8W and her companion, an EMD “Geep,” are wasting no time moving this eastbound mixed freight along on the high iron.

With a mighty series of blasts, 7325 blows for an unprotected gravel road grade crossing just beyond the 1891 B&O built station the train will soon roar past.
