Metro North along Spuyten Duyvil

Description

A Metro North Railroad GE Genesis P32AC-DM Dual Mode diesel-electric locomotive powers a Manhattan-bound commuter train from the rear on the Hudson Line along the Spuyten Duyvil Creek in The Bronx, NYC. This stretch of track is between Spuyten Duyvil and Marble Hill.

Typically the diesel-powered trains operating along this route have the locomotive on the front of the train departing Grand Central Terminal. In the other direction, the trains are driven from a control cab in the coach at the opposite end from the locomotive.
